Food, care, monitoring and coordinated veterinary support for cats in our colonies.
Kin Felina was founded to support community cats and the people who live alongside them. Our work is grounded in respect, prevention and responsibility.
Food, care, monitoring and coordinated veterinary support for cats in our colonies.
We promote responsible, sustainable action to help people and cats live well together.
We work with local residents and volunteers to build lasting solutions.

Kin Felina's work began on the ground in 2023, alongside the implementation of Law 7/2023. The first actions took place in Los Molinos and several parts of Sorbas town, then expanded to Moras and other communities across the municipality. The association was formally established on 1 April 2026 to give continuity, structure and coordination capacity to that voluntary work.
Sorbas covers approximately 249 km², has fewer than 3,000 inhabitants and includes around forty villages, hamlets, cortijadas and dispersed settlements. Long distances, an ageing population and limited specialist services require a model adapted to rural life.
Kin Felina aims to connect residents, carers, volunteers, veterinary professionals, collaborating property owners and public administrations. The goal is to progressively map, census and monitor colonies across the whole municipality.
